Introduction

The events department at BACP organises a varied programme of national and regional events throughout the year offering a valuable portfolio of conferences, seminars and workshops. Regular events in our calendar include regional consultations - free events which update members on issues pertinent to BACP and the profession; an extensive programme of accreditation workshops led by a member of the professional standards assessment team which aid members through the accreditation process; and workshops from our professional conduct department focusing on legal and ethical issues. In addition to these we hold a number of divisional events throughout the year as well as our two main annual conferences ? the research conference and the association's main conference and AGM. The annual research conference presents peer reviewed research covering a wide range of research issues. The BACP annual conference offers training on a variety of topical subjects as well as excellent networking opportunities..

BACP members receive preferential rates at BACP events; organisational members receive preferential rates for up to five people at BACP events; members of Divisions and Faculties receive special rates for their own events.
